Kitz n Thingz - The whole experience
In addition to our online store we have the Kitz n Thingz Shed which is situated 5 mins out of the Invercargill CBD at our home. The Shed used to be a home based engineering/mechanic workshop. It is now the home for our fabulous eclectic range of modern & vintage inspired fabrics.
To add to the experience, Betsy our 1966 Crusader Caravan is open when we host open days with complimentry Nespresso coffee, English Breakfast tea plus Angela's yummy scones. Betsy is not shy and loves having her photo taken with our customers.
We are so pleased to be able to offer our customers this beautiful book by Jaybird Quilts.
Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts has designed 12 projects (9 quilts and 3 pillows) for this book. Each was designed to serve a specific purpose for baby or caregivers.
All 12 designs are created by rotary cutting fabric strips using the Super Sidekick Ruler and best of all no dreaded Y-seams!
This book is live on our website now.
We also stock the Super Sidekick Ruler, please contact us by email email@example.com or by telephone (027) 714 9111, we can then give you all the details.
We are organising some classes at the moment and one of our groups is our ByAnnie Group. We have so much fun making the organisation projects that ByAnnie do so well. Their patterns are so easy to follow (if you actually read the pattern and not skip bits) and the hardware, zips, mesh, soft and stable, fold over elastic are all such fabulous quality.
One of the classes we are organising is to make the Ruler Wrap. Wendy (photo is of her one) and I have both made one and the storage for rulers, cutting mat and ironing wool mat and plus some tools is amazing. If you would like to go on a pre-registration list just let us know. This class will be happening in May 2021.
We are into Month 2 of our Nebula BOM quilts and it is so much fun. Jaybird Quilts has made it so easy with her awesome rulers and easy to follow instructions. To make this project more fun we set up a group so we can sew and learn together. This Saturday we are getting together again and I for one, am looking forward to it.
If you are wanting to make this stunning quilt then the opportunity is still there as we have a couple of spaces still left. If you are interested just contact Angela and Wendy on 027 7149111 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. We haven't got our BOM on our website yet but they will be there soon.
Have a great week
